At the heart of APF's Sheffield work is a weekly gathering where immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and local residents come together as one body — to worship, to pray, and to belong.
People from the Congolese, Rwandan, Burundian, and Ugandan diaspora alongside UK-born residents. Services are multilingual — English, French, Kinyarwanda, and Kinyamulenge.
Sung worship, preaching, testimony sharing, intercessory prayer, and open communion — a living community meal, nourishing and warm.
Children are welcome in every gathering, with age-appropriate faith activities so families can worship together.
Gatherings continue informally over shared food — a practice rooted in African hospitality and the early church alike.
